Behind every successful project there is a story. In the case of PROagility, it is a story of passion for football, the courage to venture into an unexplored segment, and a long-term vision to improve the level of Slovak sport.

More than ten years ago, the market for modern training equipment in Slovakia was almost non-existent. Coaches and clubs struggled to find quality equipment for the systematic development of athletes and youth. Marián Rybár decided to find a way to fill this gap in the market.

‍

Today, PROagility is a stable partner for sports clubs, coaches, and sports associations. However, there is more than just a business model behind the brand - there is personal determination, discipline, and daily work with a clear vision.

We discussed the beginnings, values, and business challenges with the founder of PROagility, who is one of our satisfied customers.

‍

How did the idea for your business come about? What inspired you to start?

‍

The idea came about in 2010 during a coaching seminar, where I first became familiar with special training equipment focused on developing motor skills of athletes. I realized that this segment was almost unoccupied in Slovakia and that coaches and clubs did not have easy access to modern equipment. 

‍

At that moment, my passion for football combined with the business opportunity and the foundation for what we are building today, was laid. From the beginning, I felt that it would not just be a company, but a project with which I would strongly identify.

‍

What were the beginnings like? What was the first phase, what did you have to start with, what did you encounter at the beginning?

‍

The beginnings were full of learning. International trade, ordering the first container, logistics, customs, storage - everything was new to me. It went gradually, step by step.

‍

I remember being so absorbed by my work that I often lost track of time. Customer service and striving to deliver more than expected came first.

‍

My brother was a great support to me and helped me significantly in many phases – whether practically, organizationally, or emotionally. In business, it is extremely important to have someone you trust close by your side. And I am lucky to have that.

‍

How did you overcome them? What helped you the most, and what did you learn from the experience?

‍

Patience, discipline, and belief in our strategy helped us. I learned to think more ahead, manage risks, and work with a margin of error.

‍

Entrepreneurship has taught me greater personal discipline and the need to sacrifice a lot of time. That makes me appreciate the support of my family even more – and also my brother, who not only helps me in the company but is also an important source of moral support.

‍

What is most important for your company? What values, vision, or mission guide you?

‍

First and foremost is our passion for sports, especially soccer. We don't just do business - we are part of the sports community. This allows us to truly understand the clubs and their needs.

‍

Our vision is to contribute to making the Slovak sports environment better, more systematic, and more professional - in part, thanks to high-quality equipment. We believe that quality training starts with quality conditions.

‍

For me personally, the company is more than just a business. It is a project that I identify with deeply. We take full responsibility for it and live it every day.

‍

What is your favorite moment in business - something that really made you happy?

‍

There are several such moments. Sometimes I allow myself to stop and reflect.

‍

My greatest inspiration is the connection to the success of our customers - from professional clubs to small village teams or individuals. When I see that even a small detail can contribute to a big result, I realize that our work has meaning.

‍

And that's why we continue - with responsibility, humility, and a vision for growth.
